Welcome to Some Travel Required. A travel blog about two first-time backpackers attempting to travel the world on a shoestring budget. We created this blog to keep in touch with friends and family as we fumble our way around the globe. We're also hoping that others thinking about embarking on their own RTW adventure will find this blog useful.

7 months is a very, very long time to spend traveling with someone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, especially if that someone is your significant other! Please send us an email to keep us busy and stop us from killing one another. Got a suggestion for a great place to visit? Let us know. Planning your own adventure? Get in touch and maybe we can give you some advice based on our experiences. Maybe we’re passing through your neck of the woods and you’d like to offer up a couch to crash on or buy us a beer.
